A landscape is a geographical mosaic composed of interacting ecosystems resulting from the influence of geological, topographical, soil, climatic, biotic and human interactions in a given area. Similarly, a seascape is a spatially heterogeneous marine region that can be delineated at a range of scales and which includes physical, geological and chemical aspects of oceans.
